While living in Singapore, inspired by the beauty of the Botanical gardens Singapore I wanted to recreate the beauty and charm of these flowers in jewelry form.
The lotus flower is symbolic of purity. Despite growing in muddy water the flower blossoms on long stalks floating above all the impurity. The Lotus in the pond represents the rebirth of creativity and finding the self. Above the murky water, the enchanting and colorful flowers looked breathtakingly beautiful reminding us how purity can find its way to blossom no matter where it exists.
